
Kuala Lumpur, Jan 9 – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim engaged in a significant audience with His Majesty Seri Paduka Baginda the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, centering discussions on imminent cabinet agendas and pressing national affairs.
During the session, His Majesty offered guidance, emphasizing the paramount importance of Anwar and the MADANI Government’s steadfast commitment to efficient country management. Noteworthy was His Majesty’s reaffirmation of the palace’s non-involvement in political maneuvering, reiterating a distinct separation between the royal institution and political activities.
Beyond governmental issues, Anwar underscored the critical need for proposed donations amounting to RM500 million or RM750 million to be specifically directed towards aiding the underprivileged and asnaf communities nationwide. This targeted allocation seeks to ensure support directly reaches those in dire need.
Concluding the meeting, Anwar conveyed gratitude while expressing his reverence with the customary proclamation, “Long live the King!” showcasing utmost respect and allegiance to His Majesty.
