KUALA LUMPUR, Oct2 – My Digital ID Sdn Bhd (MyDigital ID) has sealed new industry partnerships to expand the use of Malaysia’s national digital identity across key sectors, reinforcing the government’s push for a trusted and secure digital ecosystem.

The Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), formalised at Cyber Defence & Security Asia (CyberDSA) 2025 in MITEC, Kuala Lumpur, were witnessed by Digital Minister YB Gobind Singh Deo. The signings marked a significant step in embedding MyDigital ID into everyday services that millions of Malaysians rely on.

Driving Adoption and Security

According to MyDigital ID, the agreements will make secure access to digital services easier and more convenient while significantly reducing fraud risks. By embedding a trusted identity layer, the initiative also supports Malaysia’s broader digital transformation goals.

“With strong support from government and industry partners, MyDigital ID is reinforcing its role as the foundation of secure and inclusive digital services for Malaysians,” the company said.

The partnerships build on guidance from the National Cyber Security Agency (NACSA) to strengthen resilience, safeguard personal data, and enhance public trust in digital transactions.

MyDigital ID functions as a secure Single Sign-On (SSO) solution without replacing the MyKad or storing personal data. Available on the Google Play Store, Apple App Store and Huawei AppGallery, the platform provides Malaysians with trusted access to digital services and transactions.

The new collaborations signal Malaysia’s determination to place cybersecurity, convenience, and public confidence at the heart of its digital economy.
