BANDAR BARU BANGI, July 16 — Warm smiles, heartfelt congratulations and the aroma of freshly baked bread filled the air as Mayangs Loaf celebrated its soft opening yesterday at Residensi Ostia, Bandar Baru Bangi, welcoming family members, close friends and loyal customers to witness the beginning of its newest culinary venture.
The occasion marked another milestone for Founder and Owner, Tengku Maziah Tengku Abdullah, affectionately known as “Kuyah,” whose passion for food and hospitality has steadily earned the admiration of customers over the years.
Well before the opening of Mayangs Loaf, Tengku Maziah had already built an impressive track record in the food and beverage industry. She previously partnered with a close friend to establish Che Roti La Farina, a bakery café in Kangar, Perlis, where she gained valuable experience in artisan baking and café operations before embarking on her latest venture.
She later founded Mayangs Cafe, introducing authentic Terengganu cuisine to Bandar Baru Bangi and earning a loyal following for its traditional recipes, warm hospitality and family-oriented atmosphere. The café also attracted strong public response during Ramadan, recording full-house patronage for its heritage iftar offerings.

A beautiful celebration of friendship, family and new beginnings. Surrounded by loved ones, Tengku Maziah Tengku Abdullah (Kuyah) celebrates the soft opening of Mayangs Loaf, a milestone made even more meaningful by the presence of those who have supported her journey every step of the way.
Now, with Mayangs Loaf, Tengku Maziah is expanding the Mayangs brand into artisan breads, pastries and handcrafted baked creations, while preserving the same values that have become synonymous with the business.
The soft launch embraced the theme “A New Chapter, The Same Heart,” symbolising the evolution of the Mayangs brand while remaining true to its commitment to quality, sincerity and genuine hospitality.

She also acknowledged the invaluable contributions of their daughters, Puteri Elisa Sabrina and Puteri Helena, who have stood beside their mother in growing the Mayangs brand.
Equally deserving of recognition is her sister, Tengku Noor Anita, whose continuous encouragement and support have been instrumental throughout the journey.
No successful business is built alone, and Tengku Maziah also expressed her heartfelt appreciation to the dedicated team at Mayangs Cafe and Mayangs Loaf, whose commitment, professionalism and hard work have played a vital role in bringing her vision to life.
