KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 29 – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said the achievements of the MADANI Government to date are the result of policy stability, the courage to pursue reforms, and sustained trust from the rakyat, underscoring the administration’s commitment to building a resilient and inclusive Malaysia.
In a statement posted on his social media platforms, Anwar said the government’s reform agenda has strengthened the domestic economy through quality investments, job creation and an inclusive growth strategy that prioritises broad-based participation.
“Within the country, the economy continues to be reinforced through quality investments, the creation of employment opportunities and an inclusive growth agenda,” he said.
He added that Malaysia’s economic progress is being complemented by stronger international engagement, with government-to-government relations and cooperation among global leaders opening doors to strategic investments and enhancing the country’s standing on the world stage.
“At the international level, relationships between governments, countries and groups of leaders have created space for strategic investments and strengthened Malaysia’s position in the eyes of the world,” he said.
Anwar stressed that the government’s achievements should not be viewed merely through headline figures or statistics, but through tangible benefits felt by ordinary Malaysians.
“All these achievements are not just numbers and statistics, but are translated into real benefits for the people — from family well-being and new economic opportunities to greater assurance of a more resilient future,” he said.
The Prime Minister also expressed confidence that the MADANI Government would continue to move forward with integrity and responsibility, supported by the collective backing of families, friends and the wider Malaysian public.
“With the strong support of family, friends and the people of Malaysia, I believe the MADANI Government will continue to move forward, serve with trust, and build a nation that is just, prosperous and competitive for all,” he said.
Since taking office, Anwar has consistently emphasised governance reforms, fiscal discipline and inclusive development as central pillars of the MADANI framework, positioning Malaysia to navigate global economic uncertainty while strengthening domestic resilience. – TNS NEWS
