Putrajaya, Nov 19 — The Ministry of Finance has announced that retail prices for RON97 petrol and diesel in Peninsular Malaysia will increase by 3 sen per litre for the period of November 20 to 26, 2025.
According to the statement, RON97 will be priced at RM3.28 per litre, while diesel will be RM3.10 per litre. Prices for unsubsidised RON95 remain at RM2.65 per litre, and subsidised RON95 under the BUDI95 program stays at RM1.99 per litre. Diesel prices in Sabah, Sarawak, and Labuan remain unchanged at RM2.15 per litre.
The ministry explained that the adjustment reflects global oil price trends and is determined using the Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM). “The government will continue to monitor crude oil price trends and take appropriate measures to safeguard the welfare of the people,” the statement said.
This weekly adjustment underscores Malaysia’s commitment to balancing market realities with price stability, ensuring that citizens are protected while global energy markets remain volatile.
