Gaza, Jan 10 – The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military arm of Hamas, announced a significant success in their recent operations against Zionist forces in Gaza, marking a series of intense battles over the past week. Abu Ubaida, the spokesperson for Izzuddin Al-Qassam Brigade, declared a major achievement, citing the destruction of 42 enemy vehicles and the killing of 22 Zionist soldiers in close combat engagements.
“Our forces showcased their capabilities by not only engaging in close combat but also executing strategic maneuvers, seizing enemy drones, and launching precise attacks on key locations,” Abu Ubaida reported.
The operations involved strategic detonations, including a house, 4 tunnel entrances, and a land mine site, all aimed at restricting the enemy’s movements. Additionally, surface-to-air missiles were deployed against enemy helicopters, resulting in the downing of a Hermes 900 Reconnaissance Drone and the capture of a Skylark drone along with two other types.
“Our forces also launched attacks and bombed the government center and gathering places of the enemy with mortars and short-range missiles on all frontlines in Gaza,” Abu Ubaida continued. Furthermore, Tel Aviv became a target for large-scale rocket strikes, emphasizing the reach and intensity of their attacks.
“The escalation in Gaza highlights the increasing tensions in the region,” as per reports from the scene.
