Kuala Lipis, Jan 24— The Institute of Integrity Malaysia (IIM) has continued its second series of the Back-to-School Program to ease the burden of B40 families and ensure students are prepared for the 2026 school year. A total of 50 B40 students in Kuala Lipis, Pahang, received complete school aid packs at Sekolah Kebangsaan Jeransang.
Each student was given a full set of school essentials including a school bag, uniform, shoes, and stationery. The handover was officiated by Dr. Mona binti Othman, Head of Corporate Sector at IIM, who is currently serving as Acting Chief Executive Officer of IIM.
“This Back-to-School IIM program is a welfare and social development initiative to help students begin the 2026 school year more prepared, comfortable, and motivated,” said Dr. Mona binti Othman.
The first series of the program was held on January 19, 2026, at the Orang Asli Museum Auditorium in Gombak, Selangor, where 50 Orang Asli students received similar aid packs. That event was officiated by Dr. Rozaidi bin Abdul Rahim Razali, a member of IIM’s Board of Directors. He emphasized that the program reflects IIM’s commitment to closely engaging with the Orang Asli community, in line with Malaysia’s inclusive approach to social development and education.
The Back-to-School Program is supported by strategic collaboration with Mydin and the Department of Orang Asli Development (JAKOA), both of which contributed to the success of the initiative. In total, contributions exceeding RM10,000 have been distributed through the program, ensuring that no B40 student is left behind and that every child’s right to education is preserved.
