Parade Ceremony Marks 2024 Hari Pahlawan in Putrajaya

PUTRAJAYA, July 31 – The 2024 Hari Pahlawan celebration was held in Putrajaya today, attended by the Honorable Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution, Minister of Home Affairs. The event, organized by the Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) and the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM), honored past heroes who defended the nation’s sovereignty with a static parade involving detachments from PDRM, ATM, the ATM Veterans Association, and the Malaysian Ex-Police Association.

The ceremony, which took place at Dataran Pahlawan, was graced by His Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Ibrahim and Her Majesty the Raja Permaisuri Agong Raja Zarith Sofiah. The event underscored the nation’s gratitude towards its military and police personnel.

Saifuddin highlighted the importance of the event: “This celebration is a significant effort to appreciate the hard work and sacrifices of our past heroes who have defended our beloved country’s sovereignty.”

Also present were the Honorable Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Datuk Seri Dr. Shamsul Anuar, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, YBhg. Datuk Haji Ruji, Secretary General of the Ministry of Home Affairs (KDN), and various heads of departments and agencies under KDN.
