Police Probe “Glamping With Pride” After Five Reports Filed

Kajang, Jan 10 — Police have opened an investigation into the upcoming “Glamping With Pride” program, scheduled for Jan 17–18 in Hulu Langat, Selangor, after receiving five reports from the public.

Kajang District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Naazron Abdul Yusof confirmed that a case file has been opened following the first complaint. The reports were lodged over promotional materials for the event, which sparked public concern.

Authorities emphasized that investigations will proceed in accordance with existing laws and directives. The case highlights growing sensitivity around public programs and the need for organizers to ensure compliance with regulations and community standards.

The program, marketed as a lifestyle and leisure event, has drawn scrutiny ahead of its scheduled dates. Police have not disclosed further details on potential charges or actions against the organizers.
