Kuala Lumpur, Jan 10 — The Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) has confirmed that 20 of its officers are under investigation for misconduct, with the service’s top commander pledging firm action.
In a statement, General Dato’ Sri Haji Muhamad Norazlan bin Aris, Chief of Air Force, said initial investigations revealed the officers were involved in “immoral activities that violated current orders and directives.”
He stressed: “There will be no compromise, and I will ensure all officers involved are brought to justice in accordance with existing regulations.”
The announcement underscores RMAF’s commitment to discipline and integrity, sending a strong message that misconduct will not be tolerated within the ranks. Analysts note that such transparency is crucial in maintaining public trust in Malaysia’s defense institutions.
