KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 18 – Going on a spiritual journey is a profound experience, and the joint effort of Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) and the Persatuan Pengendalian Pelancongan Bumiputera Malaysia (Bumitra) enhances this with the magnificent unveiling of the 2024 Hajj, Umrah, and Tourism Carnival.

In the heart of the much-anticipated Movenpick Hotel KLIA, Sepang, the stage is set for the second edition of the Hajj, Umrah, and Tourism Carnival from Friday to Sunday (January 19 to 21).
An anticipated 10,000 visitors are expected to grace the event, transforming it into a celebration of spiritual exploration and cultural richness.
Harun KC Ahmmu, Bumitra Malaysia President said the organisation of this year’s carnival brings a distinctive element as exhibitors would also promote attractive offers for Umrah packages and tourism provided by their respective companies.
“Bumitra Malaysia is very grateful to TH for providing an opportunity to introduce Hajj Management License (PJH) companies to the public, emphasizing that only licensed companies can offer legitimate Hajj management services,” he told the media at the pre-launch session for the 2024 Hajj, Umrah, and Tourism Carnival here Monday.
Apart from the 25 PJH companies, Harun said several other companies including Bank Islam, AMAL (Malaysia Airlines), Takaful Malaysia Bhd and Saudi Tourism Authority will also participate in the three-day carnival as exhibitors.

Beyond the glitz and glamour, the carnival serves as a gateway for the public to immerse themselves in the rich tapestry of information and tempting offers, all seamlessly orchestrated by the 25 distinguished companies under the revered PJH. Priced below RM50,000, this package reaffirms the pledge to provide a viable alternative for those opting out of the TH Muassasah package.
