Kota Kinabalu, Nov 9 — Pakatan Harapan has announced 10 KEADILAN candidates for the upcoming Sabah state election, pledging to restore values-based politics and defend the rights of Sabahans.
KEADILAN President and Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said, “I have announced 10 KEADILAN candidates for the Sabah state election. God willing, this will ignite the spirit of struggle and strengthen leadership that stands for hope and the interests of the people.”
The candidates are:
- N18 Inanam: Peto Galim
- N44 Tulid: Datin Rufinah Pengeran
- N23 Petagas: Awang Husaini Sahari
- N61 Segama: Romansa Lamin
- N50 Gum-Gum: Abdul Said Pimping
- N20 Api-Api: Thonny Chee
- N72 Merotai: Datuk Haji Ruji Ubi
- N42 Melalap: Datuk Jamawi Jaafar
- N35 Sindumin: Datuk Yamani Hafez Tun Musa
- N54 Karamunting: George Hiew
“They come from different backgrounds and experiences, but are united by a shared resolve to confront challenges and restore values-based politics,” he added.
The announcement comes ahead of the November 29 election, with Pakatan Harapan aiming to consolidate support across Sabah. He also said, “We will ensure this vision is translated into the empowerment of Sabah’s rights and interests.”
