PUNCAK ALAM, Nov 19 – In conjunction with World Children’s Day, East Coast’s leading radio station, THR GEGAR, organised a heart-warming visit to the paediatric ward of Sultan Abdullah Hospital, Puncak Alam. The initiative, aimed at brightening the day of young patients and appreciating the dedication of healthcare workers, featured popular radio hosts Issey, Fizie, Ashwad, and Ewan.

Eman Zaki, Brand Manager of THR GEGAR, highlighted the purpose of the visit, saying, “This visit is not just an act of kindness but also an opportunity for our presenters to connect with and understand the experiences of children battling health issues. It is a meaningful milestone for us, as this is the first visit conducted since the hospital began operating three years ago.”

During the two-hour visit, the radio hosts engaged with the children and staff, offering food hampers and colouring sets to the young patients. They also hosted a live broadcast session with ward staff via THR GEGAR’s official social media platforms. The paediatric ward, home to 20 young patients with various illnesses, resonated with joy and gratitude as the presenters mingled and shared moments with the children.

“We hope this visit can lift the spirits of the little ones in the paediatric ward and bring some happiness to the dedicated healthcare workers who tirelessly care for their patients,” added Eman.

THR GEGAR reaffirmed its commitment to children’s health and expressed hope for the speedy recovery of the young patients, allowing them to resume their normal lives.
