Calling for continued recognition and empowerment of women, Anwar urged Malaysians to honour their contributions and ensure they are given fair opportunities to contribute to the country’s development.
“In conjunction with International Women’s Day, let us all appreciate the important role and immense contributions of women, and ensure they continue to be respected, empowered and given fair space to contribute to the nation’s progress,” he said.
“You are the strength, the hope and the future of the nation.”
